SHEPHERD NEAME LAUNCHES FATHER’S DAY COMPETITION TO FIND BREW’S THE BEST DAD WITH AN EXCLUSIVE PRIZE PACKAGE
Independent family brewer Shepherd Neame is looking for one very special beer-loving Dad to win the ultimate present this Father’s Day.
The Faversham-based brewer has launched Brew's the Best Dad?, offering the following exclusive package to the lucky winner:
• His ‘own beer’ at his local Shepherd Neame pub* – a Shepherd Neame cask ale rebadged with his face and name on it for the day!
• A brewery tour for four to see how ‘his beer’ would have been brewed
• A £250 gift card to spend on a meal with his family at his favourite Shepherd Neame pub*
The company has teamed up with Whitstable-based artist, Ben Dickson, to design the limited edition pump clip, which will feature the winner’s face and name. But for now, the face is blank! Could your Dad’s face fit?
Ben Dickson, who designed cut-outs of audience members for the Marlowe Theatre in 2021, said: “When Shepherd Neame approached me to do this, I jumped at the chance! I’m a portrait artist and I have drawn hundreds of different faces over the years. I wonder what the winner will look like - I think it would be great to walk into your local pub and find your face in front of the pump.”
There are also four runners-up prizes of £50 Shepherd Neame gift cards up for grabs.
To be in with a chance of winning these prizes for their Dad, entrants simply need to explain in 50 words why he is the best! Entries need to be emailed to [email protected] by June 9.
Managing Director, Pubs, Jonathon Swaine, said: “Father’s Day is a great time to treat our Dads – and what better way than with his very own beer?
“We know there are many Dads out there who enjoy a pint of Shepherd Neame’s award-winning beers. But which one deserves their very own? We can't wait to see Brew's the Best Dad!”
