Chief Executive's message 18 December 2020

Dear Friends of Shepherd Neame,

As we near the end of this most challenging of years, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you again for your incredible support.

In spite of all the challenges, we have enjoyed many successes including being named Tenanted Pub Company of the Year at the Publican Awards and Brewery of the Year by the Good Pub Guide. We were also honoured with nine medals in this year’s International Beer Competition.  
 
These achievements, along with the many messages of goodwill that we have received, and the overwhelming support that you have shown towards our licensees and our pubs in recent months, make it a year to be proud of.

I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the creativity, the spirit and the resilience shown by our team members and our licensees. It is their belief and optimism that will lead us through.

Shepherd Neame is a unique and special company, and I am confident that we will weather this crisis and resume the successful path we were on back in February this year.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our pubs as soon as the situation allows.

Until then, I would like to wish you and your families a safe and happy Christmas.
