Pub of the Week: The Cricketers, Horsell Birch

The Cricketers is a family-friendly pub in Horsell Birch, Surrey which prides itself on delivering fantastic food with great service.

A multi award-winning pub, The Cricketers recently added to their various accolades when they were named ‘Pub Restaurant of the Year’ at the Shepherd Neame Pub Awards 2017.

Inside, the comfortable bar and restaurant area offers ample seating for diners, plus a beautiful garden room which opens on to the patio. There is also a rear garden complete with play area, and an outside bar open throughout the summer months.

On the extensive menu you will find everything from light bites through to a full three course meal. There is undoubtedly something here for all tastes and appetites, with a choice of jackets, baguettes, sizzling fajitas, gourmet burgers, pub classics, vegetarian options, and lots more, plus a dedicated children’s menu.  On Sundays there is a very popular carvery, available from 12 until 6pm.

There’s lots going on, with jazz nights every Monday evening, and live music from local bands on the first Friday of every month. There is also a quiz night every other Tuesday from 8pm, with all proceeds going to local charities.
