Pub of the Week: The Wharf, Dartford
The Wharf is a modern, spacious, family-friendly pub in the Crossways area of Dartford. It is a busy pub not far from Bluewater shopping centre, and is popular with locals and visitors to the area alike.
Inside, there is a spacious bar area, separate downstairs restaurant and carvery, and garden. For warmer days there is also a lakeside terrace, with views directly over Cotton Lake, where you can watch the swans and other wildlife come and go.
The pub serves traditional pub meals, with plenty of choice for all tastes and appetites on both the bar and restaurant menus, plus a tempting choice of desserts, and a dedicated menu for children.
Enjoy starters such as crispy salt and pepper squid, or share a charcuterie board. For the main course, try their indulgent fish pie, a juicy steak burger, or one of the Chef’s Own dishes, such as the crispy pork belly with eggplant mash.
Business breakfasts, party lunches and other private dining can all be catered for by appointment, and the pub can be hired for functions such as wedding receptions and conferences. With ample parking, and the Dartford Crossing conveniently nearby, the Wharf is easily accessible from both sides of the Thames.
